The book has a short introduction to each faith giving an outline of the main beliefs followed by simplified stories written in a style, suitable to be read aloud during school assemblies. Art in the RE Lesson Teacher Handbook

This full colour teacher’s handbook provides ideas for a number of simple, easy to follow, skill based art activities linked to a range of different RE topics relevant to the QCA Curriculum for RE at Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. There are several separate art activities for each of the RE topics covered. Each activity has its link to RE explained in the ‘talk about’ section, a list of materials needed, step by step instructions on how to undertake the work plus suggestions as to how the finished work could be displayed.
