The three books ‘Step by Step Art in the RE/History/Geography Lesson’ are full colour teacher’s handbooks which provide ideas for a number of simple, easy to follow, skill based art activities linked to a range of different topics relevant to the National Curriculum for History and Geography with suggestions for RE at Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. There are several separate art activities for each of the topics covered. Each activity has its link to RE/History/Geography explained in the ‘talk about’ section, a list of materials needed, step by step instructions on how to undertake the work plus suggestions as to how the finished work could be displayed. Creative Curriculum Planning

‘The Primary School Curriculum 2000 Topic Book’ has been around in various forms for the best part of twenty years and is still one of the easiest planning tools to use when designing a sound cross curricular activity based approach to the teaching of Science, History, Geography, Design Technology and RE in the primary school. Different approaches are suggested for Nursery/Reception, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes to deliver the National Curriculum in these areas. The book contains 50 detailed topic plans, which also have suggestions for ICT and Art. Plans include 12 Nursery/Reception studies, 12 Key Stage 1 studies and 26 Key Stage 2 studies.
